If there’s one thing Vermont does better than almost anywhere else, it’s autumn. When the leaves turn to burnt orange, gold, and ruby red, Hill Farm Inn becomes the definition of fall wedding magic. Hill Farm Inn is a place where cozy New England charm meets elevated, countryside elegance.
Recently, we had the pleasure of designing florals for a breathtaking fall celebration at Hill Farm Inn, and it quickly became one of our favorites of the season. From the gorgeous mountain views to the adorable alpacas grazing in the background, every detail was steeped in Vermont beauty.

Hill Farm Inn’s ceremony space truly shines in autumn, so we kept the florals warm, soft and complimentary. We created an arbor dripping with florals and greenery designed to blend seamlessly into the foliage-filled landscape. The effect was natural, and beautifully Vermont. After the ceremony, guests made their way to the reception space and were greeted by a flowing linen welcome sign with lush florals at the base. The entrance was drenched in greenery, giving it a magical feel. To the right, guests found their seat by looking through the seating chart table which featured three breathtaking complimentary centerpieces of various heights, with apples and pears strewn about.
Inside Hill Farm Inn’s reception tent, we continued the warm, inviting aesthetic with low floral centerpieces. These centerpieces overflowed with dahlias, mums, and fall greenery. To elevate the tablescape even further, we layered taper candles in amber and burgundy along soft linens for a luxurious feel. The room had a intimate, glowing, and incredibly cozy vibe— the kind of ambiance only a Vermont fall wedding can deliver.

Located in the heart of Southern Vermont, Hill Farm blends historic character with modern amenities. In the fall, the venue’s rolling fields and old-growth trees become a painterly backdrop for both ceremonies and portraits.
Hill Farm Inn attracts couples to check out their venue in autumn for the peak foliage views, but the cozy, intimate atmosphere is what has couples saying ‘yes’ to getting married there! The ceremony lawn overlooks a valley filled with colorful maples. The venue features stone pathways, rustic wood elements, and serves as a working farm with alpacas roaming in the background. Depending on whether couples are wanting an indoor or outdoor ceremony, they will have flexiblity and peace of mind knowing that they will have a gorgeous celebration no matter how unpredictable the weather may be.
