Looking for a bouquet that will leave your guests speechless? An anthurium bridal bouquet might just be the WOW factor you’re after! With its glossy, heart-shaped bloom, the anthurium makes an immediate statement—modern, sculptural, and full of romance. Recently, we designed a bouquet built around this incredible flower, and we thought it would be fun to take you behind the scenes and share the supporting cast of blooms that made this bouquet so special. No gatekeeping here!
Each flower brought its own personality to the design, balancing the sleek elegance of the anthurium with texture, movement, and softness. Let’s break down this anthurium bridal bouquet bloom by bloom.

The heart of the bouquet. With its polished surface and graceful curves, the white anthurium feels almost like porcelain—delicate yet strong. It instantly draws the eye, making it the perfect focal flower. In an anthurium bridal bouquet, this bloom feels like a quiet nod to love itself, with its heart-shaped form.

For softness and flow, we layered in green hanging amaranthus. Its cascading tendrils create a sense of movement and bring a natural, garden-inspired feel. Against the sculptural anthurium, the amaranthus feels almost whimsical—adding a romantic drape that balances the bouquet’s modern edge.

Texture is everything in floral design, and explosion grass is the perfect accent. Its delicate, airy bursts give the bouquet a little sparkle, almost like confetti frozen in time. In an anthurium bridal bouquet, it adds lightness and negative space that lets the statement flowers shine.

To bring in fragrance and a touch of softness, we included white phlox. These sweet, delicate clusters tucked between larger flowers create depth and romance. Phlox adds that subtle “garden party” feeling, grounding the bouquet in a timeless bridal look while still feeling fresh and modern.

There’s something endlessly elegant about white calla lilies. Their sleek, trumpet-shaped blooms echo the sophistication of the anthurium while offering a softer curve. In an anthurium bridal bouquet, they strike the perfect balance between bold modernity and timeless romance.

Finally, we layered in white agapanthus, known for its star-shaped florets that gather into a globe-like bloom. These airy orbs add structure while keeping the bouquet light and textural. They complement the linear shapes of the calla lilies and the draping amaranthus beautifully, giving the bouquet dimension from every angle.

Together, these flowers created a bouquet that felt both modern and romantic: sleek white anthuriums as the star, softened by flowing amaranthus, accented with the sparkle of explosion grass, grounded with phlox, elevated by calla lilies, and given dimension through agapanthus.
It’s a reminder that an anthurium bridal bouquet isn’t just a collection of flowers—it’s a story told through texture, movement, and meaning.
If you’re dreaming of a bouquet that feels unique, refined, and deeply personal, we’d love to help you bring it to life. Every flower has a role to play, and when chosen thoughtfully, they come together in the most unforgettable way.
